RTVE presents the project BIOTECHNOLOGY OF FOOD

 

The Food Technological Center (Ctic-Cita) has developed a research project for the creation of new foods for elderly people with very specific intake and chewing conditions and whose nutritional needs are very precise.

 

TRICUM - CULTIVATION OF HIGH QUALITY WHEAT VARIETIES.

The TRICUM project consists of the production of flour suitable for the production of bread with improved organoleptic and nutritional characteristics, through high quality wheat varieties, optimizing its cultivation in La Rioja.

PROLIVE - NEW EXTRACTION TECHNOLOGIES.

The PROLIVE project consists of the validation of emerging technologies (High Voltage Electric Pulse and Ultrasonic) to increase the yield of extra virgin olive oil.

The MICROBIOCAP project is a breakthrough for post-harvest.

MICROBIOCAP demonstrates advances in post-harvest technology of fruits and vegetables through the microencapsulation of bioplaguidas that fight the plague of the crops.
